A true hero! It has been some time since I’ve read a Vonnegut novel. I should make sure that the library has some of them and get to work. :)

The Traveler - John Berryman

parismountain:

This is a wonderful poem that I had the pleasure of reading in my Studies in Two Authors class this spring. We didn’t get to devote terribly much time to it, but I will definitely say that it’s worth a couple of close reads.

Edit: When I checked out the post, I wasn’t able to make the picture larger. Keeping that in mind, you should look up John Berryman’s “The Traveler.”

I’m sick of just liking people. I wish to God I could meet somebody I could respect.

- J.D. Salinger, Franny and Zooey

This book is one of my absolute favorites. If you haven’t read it, I recommend that you take the time to do so.

You know it’s the truth.
